As a dedicated mother of four, I navigate the daily whirlwind of school, not so many meal preparations because I hate cooking, late-night snuggles, and the ever-present “Mommy, have you seen my charger?” These moments are meaningful and cherished, yet they are only a part of who I am.
While motherhood is a significant role I embrace, it doesn’t encompass my entire identity. I’ve decided to rediscovered the vibrant woman within me, beaming with ideas, dreams, style, sass, and softness. I am someone who enjoys Pilates and lipstick, who blasts trap music on the way to work, and who is as passionate about her personal growth as she is about finding moments of tranquility.
Here’s a glimpse of what else defines me:
While motherhood has undeniably influenced me, it does not confine me. I refuse to condense my identity into mere “mom memes”. I am simultaneously raising my children and myself, and both journeys deserve acknowledgment and space.
To the mothers reading this, if you’ve lost touch with your own voice amidst the demands of others, let this be your reminder: you were someone before motherhood, and you still are.
What aspect of yourself are you reclaiming beyond motherhood? Is it your creativity, sensuality, ambition? Share it with confidence in the comments🩷
