The Holidays are upon us, and as we navigate through our second pandemic holiday season, the goal is to have the time you spend with your family and the gifts you give overshadow what the world is still going through.
Check out the gift guide below to include a few ideas for those in your immediate family. Feel free to use these ideas for those outside your household as well.
Most Mothers that I know and am familiar with love coffee and/or a good bottle of wine. Depending on the budget you set, you can get Mom a Keurig, a wine subscription (yes, those do exist), or you can opt for both. I am a big fan of multiple small gifts, so a bottle of wine, a gift card to her favorite coffee shop and a cute mug to indulge in said coffee, would be a hit for me, but I digress.

For a high end option, electronics are always a win. Any type of tablet, smart watch, or smartphone will put a smile on her face. Another high-end option that would steal the heart of the Mom is your life is a trip away from her everyday duties! A weekend getaway to a local bed and breakfast, or a posh hotel to recharge is priceless to any Mother. And we can’t forget a little something from her favorite designer, Chanel , LV or Cartier.
Man crates – Similar to a gift basket, man crates can be personalized and cover various interests such as: A Grill Master Crate, Rib Master Crate, etc. https://www.mancrates.com/
Noise Cancelling Headphones – Just like us Moms, Dads want to get away from the everyday cares of the world as well. This will help him do just that. This is a high-end gift item, but totally worth it for the tech-loving Dad in your life.
For the littlest of your children, you can combine the best of learning and fun with The Block Set from Lovevery. It’s a higher end gift price-wise, but this block grows into toddlerhood and beyond and will surely pay for itself. (18 months+)
Another gift option for your youngest child is a radio flyer. Not the wagon, but something more suitable for kids 12 months and up. The Busy Bugsy by Radio Flyer is a ride-on toy that converts to a push toy as kids improve their gross motor coordination. (12 months+)
Toddler gift option would be a Melissa and Doug Play Set. Most kids like to pretend and what kid doesn’t like to pretend to cook? The Slice and Toss Salad Play Set by Melissa and Doug, will have your kids putting a gourmet meal together for you in no time. (Ages 3+)
Crazy Forts – For those rainy days that keep the kids in the house this is a fun escape (Ages 5+)
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) are big this season, and for the young coder in your life, a Coding Robot will continue to spark your child’s interest in all things STEM, or it may just open them up to a new hobby. (Ages 7+) Also consider a 3D printer!
For your preteen and teenagers, electronics and cash are everything. But one thing that I believe will bring the whole family together, including said teenager, is a karaoke machine. The Karaoke Machine by Singing Machine you can get songs from anywhere — including CDs or devices you can connect to with Bluetooth, AUX cables, USB cables or RCA jacks — and LED lights make kids really feel like they’re center stage.
Gift cards are easy, as they can be delivered electronically and can be purchased for almost any item at any store. So if you don’t see anything here for the one you are shopping for, just remember that the power of choice goes a long way.
I hope this can help you out, we have 19 days until Christmas so happy shopping!!!

Meka
